“Rwanda Coffee – A Second Sunrise” is an official sponsor of Basketball Africa League Qualifiers 2020, slated from the 17th to the 22nd December 2019.
The Rwanda Coffee national brand has chosen to sponsor the competition because it valued the importance of sports, specifically basketball, given that coffee is one of the beverages regarded as a source of strength. In this regard, the brand chose to partner with Patriots BBC, a representative of Rwandan basketball clubs in these tournaments.
“We are confident that engaging with youth through sports is one of the most effective avenues for raising awareness in regards to Rwandan Coffee both domestically and internationally.” Says Ms. Cynthia UWACU, Export Market Development and Innovation Division Manager at National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB).
Ms. Uwacu affirmed that the partnership between NAEB and FERWABA and Patriots BBC is essential to take the beverage’s consumption at another level. “This partnership will benefit all the participants whereby tournaments fans will have an opportunity to taste and enjoy the Remarkable Rwanda Coffee and buy some packages from stands along the courts of Kigali Arena.”
